This strange and sophisticated work of architecture, like a monumental and provocative ultra-modern sculpture, is actually a cutting-edge family home designed by Mexican architect Agustín Hernández, known for his style of Sculptural Architecture.
The Casa del Limonero is a house on two floors; compositionally divided into two clear sections: the first area is where the main access from the street is located, occupied by a pre-existing construction and a rear one, with the bedrooms and central courtyard, which has different programs: terrace, pool and connections to the new building. It also serves as a hall because it contains the landing of the staircase and access to the rear bedrooms.
Located between two production warehouses of leafy green vegetables, the project consisted of resolving the location of offices in a space that made emphasis on the constant interaction of the areas that comprise the administration, to promote a friendly atmosphere, take distance from the corporate condition, and try to approach a community working for common purposes.

In an old house with extensive grounds and with two entrances, taking into account the location of existing trees and orientation, we project a small building with commercial areas for rent. With little budget, we decided to split and take over the garden (on the edge of higher vehicular influx) about 400 square meters.

It is a contemporary house designed with the concept of spatial fluidity, always seeking the integration of exteriors and interiors through the creation of a central courtyard that links spaces and allows views to flow through it to the rest of the site that preserves endemic vegetation without alterations.
